Good morning,
I'm still struggling to get the CAT working properly. Up to now, mostly, I can't double click on a cluster, the cluster window closes before the second click. The selected callsign appears then in the Log4OM window, but the band and the frequency of the transceiver don't change. Exceptionally, the double click has sometimes worked correctly.
I use Log4OM version 29.9.0.0 running on a PC with Windows 10 64 bits professional, 22H2 version. But I had already the same problem with the fist Log4OM I installed in November 2022 (version 2.24.0.0). My rig is an Elecraft K3 with a KPA500 amplifier. My connection is an Elecraft USB to RS232 adapter cable with a FTDI chip. I use Omnirig with the parameters mentionned in the attached PDF file.
This system works correctly with Logger32 which I have been using for 15 years.
Thank you for your help and 73

Re: Cluster double click doesn't work
Ray,
From which cluster screen are you double-clicking? The one on the Main UI that is labeled: Cluster (F8) ??
I have the same rig (K3) and my OmniRig settings are the same as yours. I do not have the KPA500. My PC to K3 connection is via USB as I have the updated KIO3B board in my K3. Albeit I used to have the same USB to RS232 connection when I first got my K3 in 2015.
I'm having trouble understanding your comment that "the cluster window closes". Are you using the Cluster panel that you get when you click on: View / Cluster View ? Then an independent Cluster window opens up?
Are you using multiple monitors?
FWIW you could update to the current version of: V 2.29.0.2 and give another try, but there has not been any programming changes that would impact that.
A bit more clarification is needed.

Re: Cluster double click doesn't work
Thank you very much, Nolan,
I didn't try double-clicking on the (F8) Cluster window, but on an independant Cluster window activated from the lower menu bar.
Double-clicking on the main (F8) Cluster window works perfectly !
Log4OM looks better now !
