Would the system slows down if sqlite file resides on a network share (nfs, smb) on the same LAN rather than on local machine SSD ?

Should be fine but easy to test it by putting a copy on the newwork and open that database instead of the local one

I currently do this and tried it once on the local SSD.
I did not see any real difference in performance. If your log is very large and your NAS/ethernet is slow; maybe there might be some lag. But on a good Synology with gigabit it should work fine.
