Bearings

Post by W3LI »

Under F9 all bearings are 270/90 for state side stations?
Under Info F7 the map shows the correct location of the stations.
I am using Ham QTH. Why is this????

Check each of those stations and see if they have a grid square or lat/long. If they don't the beam heading is to the geographical center of the U.S as a default. ;)

Quite often this is the case with QRZ.

Hi Guys, Tnx for the reply. The stations are as follows: wz8bd/8, wi9i, w4cbx, k8io, kg8co. I just realized that these are all 6m stations. The thing that is confusing is that the map F7 is correct. Chuck I am using HamQTH at ur suggestion some time ago.
Thank you Daniele and Chuck

I tried setting your locator in my Log4OM and all the calls you reported.
I saw no errors, all bearings was correctly shown in map and degrees seems to be correct.
Setting a callsign will fill the right side fields in green color? (that means the data are collected from external sources)?
