"ESC" key behaviour in Keyer interface

Post by F4HGU »

Good Afternoon,

I use a lot the "Keyer Interface" in portable activity. As I do not have a comfortable paddle to travel (should be fixed soon 8-) ) I use a lot the automatic message macro.
I struggle a lot with the "ESC" key. My reflex when I want to stop to send a message is to hit this key and then it stops the message but it also deletes the callsign of my contact.

I kow I should use CTRL+A instead, but I have the reflex to hit "ESC" and it looks difficult to change this.

Any chance to change the "ESC" behaviour or customize it to "only stop" the message and not delete everything ?

Sorry If I missed something in the user manual, I tried to find this feature with no success.

Best Regards,

Patrice

Any news?

I suffer from the same problem. "ESC" should only stop TXing but should not delete the Call of my QSO partner.

Please change the current "ESC" misbehaviour.

Would be awesome to have this changed
