Hi all
I have gone through the previous messages related to this topic, but it still does not work.
I am using L4OM version 2.33.0.0 which I have just installed on a new laptop running on Win10.
I have downloaded the 7300 drivers and installed them as administrator, the rig being disconnected.
I am running L4OM as admin.
And the endfall is I want to configure L4OM + 7300 + JTDX to work together.
Any step by step procedure on setup that I can find anywhere please ?
L4OM does communicate with the Icom, but JTDX does not : it does not show the right freq, and does not even receive.
Should the com port be the same in both JTDX and the CAT control through Omnirig ?

Re: IC-7300 + JTDX
I must add that if L4OM is not running, JTDX does communicate with the 7300. It's just the 3 together that will not work....
There must be a conflict somewhere, but I have no idea where....

Re: IC-7300 + JTDX
My guess would be that you selected the I om in JTDX not Omnirig Rig 1 or 2
Or
You failed to set Omnirig to run as an administrator

Re: IC-7300 + JTDX
Hi
When I select Omnirig, the 7300 goes TX and stays so, and frequency is not read. Even when L4OM is not launched.
I do run omnirig as admin.
So where to look next ?

Re: IC-7300 + JTDX
You do NOT run Omnirig initially you run Log4OM and Log4OM runs Omnirig but you need to set Log4OM up to do that from the config.
Have your read the quick start guide or user guide, have you watched any of the videos?

Re: IC-7300 + JTDX
Yes, I have searched the forum, and checked some videos.
As soon as I launch L4OM, the 7300 goes on transmit : only way to stop it is to close L4OM....
What do I need to do to prevent that ?

Re: IC-7300 + JTDX
In log4om open omnirig and make sure com port, dtr and rts are correct and that you have selected the data version of the rig ini
Test WITHOUT JTDX running

Re: IC-7300 + JTDX
I have done that.
Whether I switch 7300 first, or L4OM first, the rig will set to TX and stay TX.
I do have the data version of the 7300 selected in Omnirig.

Re: IC-7300 + JTDX
Well, that is exactly why I am here, asking for help on trying to find out what I am doing wrong.
Omnirig has the correct port for the Icom...
on Omnirtig, RTS and DTR are high, but I do not have the choice to NOT use these... They must be either low, high, or handshake...
If I am not mistaken, the 7300 has none in use.
