When I filter from Recent QSO tab, load filter and X the filter window I get my results. Filter is highlighted orange. How can I return back to the recent QSO tab with my original window not filtered. I have been having to exit OM to return to my original Recent QSO tab

You need to make same path back:
Click in Filters and than "Clear parameters" third icon on top, than close the filter window and that´s all
Of course it would better to have a more direct way to clear filters, without the need of re-open" te Filter window...
