Wrong ITU zone

Hello,

I worked W0AQ with GRID: FN65ie.
LOG4OM version 2.34.0.0 tells me this is ITU zone 8, but when I search with CQ/ITU zone (https://zone-check.eu/) I see ITU zone 9.
I am trying to change this ITU zone in the logfile, but zone 9 is not there.
Even when I want to update the QSO via QSO Manager,
I get the message "ITU requested is not compatible with QSO country (Unites States of America).

So who is it right now?
Or is there a bug in the database?

Well as far as I am concerned ITU zone 9 is Canada and the islands CY0, CY9 and FP

The grid square you state covers both the US and canadian side of the border

The call sign you refer to is a US call unless Charlie is in Canada using his VE9CQ call

The address for his W0AQ call is Calais which is south of the Saint Croix reservoir through which the border passes, so he is in the USA

You wont see zone 9 if you enter a US call only those for the USA

Ergo Log4OM is correct

It is indeed right on the edge with Canada.

In UAAC program I got an error with the GRID, hence my search.

But thank you for your clear explanation.
