Re: VarAC mode / LOTW mode error

Post by AC0AE »

Group, I am having a similar challenge as described in this post. However mine is different because I made a few contacts on an older version of LOG4OM prior to VARAC being included. Those contacts were labeled as "Dynamic Mode." However I upgraded LOG4OM to V8.4.4 but the problem persists.

A log for a QSL was changed to VARA HF manually by editing the log in the history view however LOTW will not accept it because of "Invalid MODE (DYNAMIC) on line 9" per text on the Upload confirmations window.

As a side note, the log uploads to QRZ are working just fine.

What do I need to do to correct this problem with LOTW?

Thank you!

Have you updated TQSL to the latest (i think 2.7.2) or is it outdated ? What is V8.4.4 ? Latest Log4OM is V2.30.1.0.

I am running Log4OM2 V 2.34.0.0

I have used the utilities to update the mode list. But it does not include VarAC as an option to select when setting my preferred modes, thus it isn't in the list when doing a manual QSO entry. Yes, it picks up VarAC when the QSO is logged automatically, but if I have something happen like to today when I had a power outage, there is no way to select VarAC when picking up the pieces and wanting to log the QSO that was in progress at the time.
