List of CARDS for DXCC submission

Post by ac5aa »

I'm trying to determine if there is a simple query that will return a list of cards ("confirmed") for DXCC submission to card checkers. I have over 300 granted entities and about 30-40 cards received that I need to pull out and put together for a submission. The steps in the manual seem arcane, but that may be my own laziness. I'm hoping there is an easy way to gather the list so I can pull the cards and get the paperwork in order.

Hi all
It looks to me like this filter is for received opaper cards, not necessarily those that should be submitted for DXCC credit.
Am I wrong ?
Thanks + 73

Seems your only evaluating the tab displayed have you tried a combination like

In QSL Manager

Filter menu

References Tab - Award = DXCC

and

Confirmations tab - QSL received = Yes

Alternatively export to a spreadsheet and manipulate in that

Jog Terry's memory a little..see this thread:

Sounds like AC5AA is looking for the same thing I asked about last December. Terry implemented a very easy way to filter on the
Submitted and Granted fields under Awards. But you have to be using those fields under Awards. Works great and when the filter
is used in the QSO Manager you can then output an ADIF for uploading to the DXCC Award worksheet on the ARRL DXCC Award
website. Works great.

Thanks, Jeff - the other was not working for me. I'll check this out. Card checkers in a week so time is getting short! I usually just submit LoTW stuff, but have gotten behind on cards. (I miss DX4Win's pushbutton for this, but the rest of Log4OM makes up for it.)

OK, I'm not seeing any way to do it with filters or other. All I need to find is all NEEDED and CONFIRMED (with cards) QSO's so I can list those for pulling cards and creating the ARRL paperwork for checking them. These will be the Q's in the log displayed as a "C" in a yellow cell in the DXCC listing since I recently submitted all the LOTW contacts and those are now "GRANTED". Since I only have 25-30 to do, I may end up doing them manually (ugh). For me, this is a major reason to have a logger since this is the chief reason I chase DX in the first place! Not comlaining - just hoping for new features in the future.

Duane. For the filter to work I was describing you have to have the categories under Submitted checked. to do that open a QSO to edit and go to the Awards tab. Single click the Award you're interested in so it's highlighted. on the right side of that window you'll see Submitted and a Granted headers. Under those headers you can put a check mark for the specific sub-awards. For example if you have DXCC highlighted for the Award, you can check mark DXCC-20 for 20 meters, DXCC-CW for DXCC CW mode and so on. Put a check next to all the sub-awards you wish to apply that QSO toward. Once you've done that under the Submitted column you can now filter on Awards, Submitted. Before Terry and LeLe implemented the filter I used to put 'submit' in the notes field and filtered on that. I do this when I get cards in and know which ones I need to submit which usually is only a couple. Hopefully this makes sense. I have about 180 or so cards I need to submit to a card checker. I went thru my log to update the Submitted field. It was a pain but it's done.
