Is there a way for this to be fixed? I would like to keep my zoom on the US instead of changing to the grid square every time. In conjunction with clicking on the callsign in the cluster I would be able to tell the state without going to the F2 Info tab.

Cluster has already a STATE column, if the data for the call is available. Simply select the column if actually hide.
about "keep zoom on the US" will not work for:
- users away from the US
- calls on different continents or outside actual zoom position and size.
We can eventually check if it's possible to "not zoom" as an option but the map functionality is made in order to give you the location of the counterpart...
