Using LOG4OM with my IC-7600 and love it!
When Super Cluster is activated I see indicators of active stations on the world map.
When I click on a DX spot I am not seeing the line indicating distance from my QTH to the DX station.
Please provide assistance on how in my settings to maximize the map features in LOG4OM.
Thank you for your assistance!

Paul

Re: Map Features
Hi Paul and welcome to the forum.
When you click a call in the Super cluster F1 window the path is displayed in the QSO Information F7 map and the heading & distance is displayed above the small cluster to the right of the map in the F7 screen, because that map is related to the logging window.
Plotting on the Super cluster F1 map is only the path between the spotter and DX station obtained from HRDLog.net and the normal DX cluster spots, its impossible to display both your heading, distance and path on the same map.
Hope this helps

Re: Map Features
Terry,
Thanks for the reply. When I click on a spot in the Super Cluster and then click on F-7 no information populates the box at all and I do not see a plot line to the DX station. I am wondering if I am missing something in my set-up. Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you and 73,
Paul

Re: Map Features
Strange!
Does the call sign get entered into the call sign field and do you get the lookup information from QRZ or HamQTH?

Re: Map Features
Terry,
Yes that part works flawlessly... when I double click the call sign it enters it into the QSO window and the frequency moves to the DX spot instantly.
For some reason the maps are just not working for me.
Thank you for your help!

Re: Map Features
What happens if you don't have supercluster running and you double click a normal spot, does the normal map work then?

Re: Map Features
Yes the regular Cluster works as well. If I select the Cluster when I click on Utilities at the top of the screen I can see DX spots as red dots across the globe by selecting F-1.
On the Map associated with the Super Cluster I just see the globe with the grey line as it moves east to west no DX spots are shown.
Thank you so much for trying to help me figure this out!

Re: Map Features
Paul,
Lets do this one step at a time.
Without the Supercluster running and with the cluster windows F1/F2/F3 closed - Referring to the screen shot below
If you double left click a spot in window "A"
Does the connecting line get displayed in window "B"
And is the heading and distance displayed in window "C"
If there is no display in "B" or "C" (When you double left click a spot in cluster "A") then I suspect that you have not set up the "External Sources" and "Lookup external sources" options in the Log4OM "Settings/Options/Settings 1" window

Re: Map Features
Terry,
The answer to A, B and C are no. I need to do as you have instructed. For the source will QRZ.com work or if not what are my options.
Thank you for your help!

Re: Map Features
I suggest that you register with HamQTH which is free and select that for the external source.
You must also enter your own grid square in the station details window of options
The calculations are done by using your locator and that supplied by lookup of the external source selected
Full details are in the user guide
