I've got similar experiences and posted some time/years ago based on slowdown with contest throughput over a long period. Yesterday I logged 54 QSOs over a 3 hour period (normal entries, not contest). I have the Worked Before window displayed. When adding a new callsign as a QSO begins and then double clicking on a worked before entry to access previous notes, over time it gets slower and slower in displaying a previous QSO details. Restarting Log4OM2 is the only solution and this can be awkward when working a long caller queue/pileup. Decent laptop being used and all other apps/performance ok. Something seems to clog-up in the database somehow....?
