greetings all. When you click the red post box and open the 'QSL Management' window, underneath the Callsign box is a row of 4 buttons, 'Search / QSL / EQSL / LOTW" and, 'Search' is selected by default. My question is, what does this button do ?? for the life of me I cannot make it actually do anything and wonder as to its purpose. Anyone ???
regards
John

search means that the fields in that area are "transformed" and can be used as search filters.
you can notice that the SAVE (floppy icon) button disappears

Re: QSL Management - a question
Search button in QSL Management window
This enables the user to search/select QSO's by a date range
How to:
1. In the default search window select a date range
2. Click either QSL, eQSL or LOTW
3. Click the main Search button at the top of the window to the right of the "Call sign" field
Result
The QSL's displayed in either of the QSL, eQSL or LOTW tabs will now be filtered by the date range selected in the 'Search' date range tab and to the specific type of QSL method selected by the selected QSL type.
This is useful where a special event station, call sign or contest took place during a specific period of time and the QSL/eQSL/LOTW status requires updating just for those records
The facility is there but the user is not compelled to use it
