Every contact I add for Australia the system puts in Zone 55, but Australia has 3 zones (55,58,59), most stations I contact are in zone 59
This means it is setting the location for other stations in the middle of Australia.
Is there some way I can fix this?
My own details were also set for zone 55 but I have changed this to 59 & it seems to have saved this.

Re: ITU Zone for Australia
David,
The zone is taken from the QRZ or HamQTH lookup so if there is a zone recorded for the call sign by the call sign owner on QRZ or HamQTH the zone will be correct in Log4OM - Check VK3IO for example returns zone 59
However not all hams register their zone with QRZ or HamQTH, check out VK5NQP for example
If no zone is recorded by the ham at QRZ or HamQTH we can only assume the centre of the country is the zone and this is derived from our country file.
So sorry but there is not much we can do about this until every ham records complete data with the online call lookup services

Re: ITU Zone for Australia
I entered VK3IO into Lo4OM & it gives the same reading, zone 55 & located in middle of Australia. Not as recorded on QRZ.com

Re: ITU Zone for Australia
David,
You need a paid XML Subscription to QRZ to get the full information including zone and locator and I notice that you are just a ham member. So you will have to join and use HamQTH for lookups
