NAVY MARS LOGGING

Post by K8AMI »

When I am on MARS FREQS, the log shows it is out of band and the field is RED. I WOULD like to override and log the out of band or modify the band setup to accept the MARS FREQS. Now it will not let me log the out of band contact.

In your roaming/logom folder there is a bandplan region 2 file, you can add the MARS frequencies to it and the out of band warning will not happen

If you are unable to do thei send me the frequencies and modes and I will modify one for you

I found the band plan for region 2 that you referenced. I edited the file with notepad and save the file as a .xlm file. All worked as i expected but when I executed log4om it showed everything out of band and I noticed that the BAND field is shadowed. I see the Freq but no BAND is shown and the field is surrounded in RED and shadowed.

Did it three times with no good results. Should I use a different editor to modify the .xlm file.

I think I'm so close... thanks again for your help.
