Google Earth Integration

I am anxious to try this new feature. After starting this feature, it runs for some time then displays a button labeled "generate KML". I press it and after some more time my computer displays a message: Windows cannot open file: 20140901143011.kml.
It then gives me the option of finding it myself. Where should I look to find this please?

This maybe a stupid question, do you have google earth installed on your computer? if not you need to do that.
