Settings / Station Info Tab Question

Post by KH6CT »

Hi All...
New user here so pardon if the question has been asked. In filling out the Station Info section, I entered my correct county in the My County field and saved the configuration. When I revisit that setting tab, the county I entered has been replaced with United States.
Minor issue, I admit... But need to know if I am doing something wrong.

Respectfully,

Hi Steve,
I just made a new config using your call sign, saved it and restarted Log4OM and all is OK with no change from Hawaii. Did you save, then select the KH6CT config and then restart log4OM?

HI Charles....
And thanks for the reply. I must have made a mistake somewhere.

I obtained my license in Hawaii, and have since moved around, keeping the call , but not living in Hawaii. I am now in Florida, so .... on the Station Info tab, should not my state be Florida and my county be Alachua (where I actually live) ??

Do I really have to make a new database just to make the system accept an county ?? Why does the My County space always revert to United States ??

Perhaps my first question was not clear... my problem.. LOL I'm an Engineer... Hi.. Hi...

No problem Steve as I'm also an engineer.

If your living in Fla with a KH6 call, you should enter the U.S. not Hawaii.

You asked about "county". Do you mean "country", as in missing the "r". There is no county of United States. Your DXCC country is U.S. not Hawaii.

Sooo... And where in the "My County" section of "Station Info" do I enter U.S. ??

I think we are having a disconnect. One of us is working in Metric; the other in English. LOL

I see exactly what your talking about now, My County, on the right side. I got confused with all the Hawaii stuff.

It appears that there is a bug which I'll pass on in that entering a value into MY COUNTY always results in United States after saving a county name (Maricopa in my case) and restarting Log4OM.

Hope I have it right now. Thanks!

It's a typo on the code, not on the user interface :)
i assigned the COUNTY value to the COUNTRY value
