Doug,
If you have a paid subscription to QRZ change to that in the options otherwise set the lookup to None repeat the tests and report back here
I will be around for another hour after that I am in London and won't return until tomorrow AM

Re: QSO Archive - Update info changes Hawaii to US
Got it!open an existing QSO with KH6BWG - now in the Update QSO window, click Update button at bottom, country changes to United States.
I changed my external sources lookup to HamQTH and it did exactly what Doug reports - Changed back to QRZ and repeated the test and the country is correctly changed to Hawaii
Seems HamQTH is the culprit
BTW I believe the external look up when clicking the "Update info" button only checks with QRZ or HamQTH, I don't think it checks the Log4om country file, SCL or Clublog exception files - Perhaps we should consider this for future development?

I agree with Terry. It should use the same logic as in the normal look-up.

Re: QSO Archive - Update info changes Hawaii to US
we can, but i feel confident that an user sets his country correctly in external sources, because they can also set the correct country in case of "doubts".
As you know some calls can be resolved only using external sources, so i suppose(d) that on QRZ/HAMQTH the user sets the correct country...
I'll contact the Hamqth owner to understand if this data is provided by the user or determined by callsign from hamqth.com

Thank you for reporting the issue. I've found a glitch on hamqth retrieve code, that was using "address DXCC" instead of main DXCC for this field.
It's a really rare situation, but i'm happy we've found it.
It's fixed and will be released with new 1.19.0

Yippee! Thanks Daniele and Terry. After I shut down last night I was thinking I should have changed my source to QRZ and test that. Glad you did that Terry.
This is something which I will be doing a lot, as I participate in contests using N1MM (now N1MM Plus), import the contest log into Log4OM, then do an "update" to gather other information like grid square, name, address, etc, which is not provided by N1MM.
Thanks a lot for checking into this!

No Terry, there is not a 1.18.2 release planned.
