Global Update
Global Update
How do I skim my entire log and populate the Grid Squares, I've tried a few ways and not had much joy. Probably something really simple that I am missing
Re: Global Update
I think what the gentleman is asking for is:
How does he update his entire log with grid squares, a number of which had no grid info for the QSOs?

Re: Global Update
If that is so then QSO Archive manager - Select the QSO's without locators (search parameters grid square equal to and leave the right hand field empty) this will search all grid square fields which are empty!K7PT wrote:I think what the gentleman is asking for is:

Select all of the QSO's and click the "Update" button
If there are a lot to be updated it will take some time so be patient!

Re: Global Update
It can only be updatet if you are an xml subscriber at qrz.com (payed) and qrz.com provides the locator in it´s database and/or if you using hamqth.com (free) for lookup. If there is no locator in the databases L4O will not find one and can´t update it.
Another problem when using online databases ... a lot of the locators in the databeses are wrong. Some hams don´t updating the data when changing QTH. I see it once a week if i got my HRDlog.net LotW report. Many locators will be changed in the hrdlog.net log if they are updating from the LotW .....
