LOTW Problem

Post by M1BCM »

Hi guys, i've been wanting to make the change from hrdlogbook to log4om for some time and have been learning how to use the program for a couple of weeks.

The problem i have is in up/downloading QSO's to LoTW .. in pages 93-96 of the manual, reference is made to the UP and DOWN arrows for eQsl and LoTW, these two arrows are NOT VISIBLE.

Using latest version with Windows 8.1, installed as admin, running as admin.

Suggestions for a fix would be appreciated, also .. is it possible to auto-upload QSO's to LoTW ? .. if not, it should be ;)

Jeff,
In the QSL manager you must click either the eQSL or LOTW buttons for the up and down arrows to appear, clearly there is no up or download for a plain search or a paper 'QSL' see first screen shot

Once you click the eQSL or LOTW button clicking search will fill the screen with all of your QSO's - See screen shot below

Hi Jeff,

not possible to auto upload to the LotW yet ....

For up/downloading entries to/from lotw you have to open the QSL Management in the "QSL Tools" Tab. In the management you have to use the LotW tab and klick at search ... QSO would be shown. Mark the qso´s you wont to upload to the LotW and press the "Arrow Up" graphic .... For download press the arrow down and set a start date for a first lookup. After a first lookup you don´t need to set a date again ....

Those "Arrows" are only visible in the QSL Magagement Window like show´n in the graphic i attched here ....

UUps ... sorry Terry .... we are crossing when answering :D :D

How typical, I went to get a screenshot, did exactly the same as before but this time the arrows showed up.

Uploads/Downloads now working perfectly.

All that's left now is to integrate DWM780, 1st attempt at that failed ;)

Thanks for the input guys :)
