FlDigi PTT hanging

I have FlDigi connected to L4OM via the communicator - I also have it talking to DDUtil via a VCP (Com 11/21) my PTT is via another VCP pair to Powersdr. Here is the problem... all seems to work well, but occasionally (around 5 times out of 10) the PTT hangs when the macro returns to rx mode. This hang could be anything up to 10 seconds before the PTT is released. Any Ideas? Do I need the DDUtil connection or will L4OM handle all the cat commands to Powersdr? L4OM is connected via another VCP (RCP1 in DDUtil)

I should have added that i have reverted to using Hamlib for the FlDigi connection and all works fine

I had the same problem using the XML-RPC option and went back to RIGCAT to cure my issue.
