All my automatic QRZ uploads have worked fine, I am beginning to think that something was changed at QRZ!

Perhaps they decided only XML subscribers could upload using the API key?

Check the log4om log file (Help/show log) it will identify what happened when you tried to upload

Just noticed this

"With an XML or higher QRZ subscription, log files arranged in Amateur Data Interchange Format (ADIF) may be uploaded and/or downloaded to/from the logbook."

In the document here

Yes Tery but it has worked up to Oct. 19/2014 also here and i am only a ham member and not a subscriber ..... In de help forum at qrz.com i see 60 views at my thread but still no answere yet .... Have also asked at eQSL.cc why my QSO after Oct.19/2014 are not longer visible in the downloadable ADIF/TXT files .... i am a Gold member there ... Upload to eQSL workung fine but not integration in that file ... Waiting also still for an email answere from eqsl.cc ....

P.S.

At qrz.com the manual ADIF import into the logbook working

Email from eqsl.cc

Hi, are you using the "Download Log in ... Volunteer

The problem on my end should be too much contacts in the ADIF or TXT file to download ... So looks like all is o.K. on the eQSL.cc ..... Now i wait for an answere in the qrz.com help forum ....

Is there any more information on this qrz auto load? Mine worked fine and auto uploaded before the upgrade and it stopped after and has not ran since.

Sorry but there is no news because it seems that the only reports about this issue are just those on this thread.

I have tested and re tested during the last few days and in fact I have just finished a QSO with my friend Gi0HWO so I immediately went to check the QRZ log and as you can see from the image it has auto uploaded perfectly.

May I suggest that you use the "Send bug report" facility in the help menu so that we can see what the answer back is from the on line log?

Before you compile the bug report please enable debug mode in the help menu and attempt a manual upload of a couple of QSO's then send the bug report.

I have also sent this email direct to the QRZ management team:
I wonder if you can help me with a small issue we have with the upload to
QRZ logbook using the API.

We have three users who say that up to last week our QRZ auto upload was
working fine.

They now tell us that the neither our auto or manual upload no longer works
for them and the log response is "QrzComUpload: STATUS=AUTH&REASON=user is
unauthorised”

These users are QRZ “Ham” members so I am wondering if the API
upload from external programs is perhaps now not available for Ham members
and restricted to XML subscribers?

I have just received a response from the QRZ management as follows:
Hi Terry,

Yes, this was always the case: the API is a XML Subscriber feature.

Unfortunately, a small bug was identified that was allowing some non-subscriber-users access.

We've repaired the bug, and now ALL non-subscribers no longer have access via the API.

So clearly you have all been lucky! but now QRZ have plugged the hole and you can only use the facility if you are a paid subscriber
