As title - when I export a log to ADIF and imported it into another program, I found all contacts were in SAT mode.
So, I loaded the ADIF file into an ADIF editor so I could take a look, and found all contacts had the mode set on the SAT_MODE column.
I checked the "export only standard ADIF fields" and selected ADIF Version 2x as well as tried the other options, but the result is always the same.
How can I fix this?

Re: Export log to ADIF - all contacts exported as SAT mode
How did the QSO's get into Log4om
1. By import from another program
2. By logging with a radio connected via CAT
3. By manual entry without a radio connected
4. By external interface like from FLDigi or JT65
Also what mode(s) do you expect to see

Hi Terry
Mostly 2, sometimes 3
The mode is shown as ssb or cw as expected, but repeated in SAT_MODE column.
When I import them into another program and run stats, they all show up as worked via SAT.
If I edit the log in an ADIf editor to clear the SAT_MODE column, they are imported correctly.

What is the other program you are importing the Log4om ADIF into?
Also what radio is connected?

Software: VQLog and dxbase
Radio : either Elad S2 masquerading as an FT897, or SDR-Radio masquerading as a TS2000.

Ok
Please do the following
1. In the help menu enable debug mode
2. Now without restarting Log4om log a QSO
3. Again without restarting Log4om go to the help menu and complete the support request
4. Send to me by email the resulting Support request zip file together with your SQLite file

Re: Export log to ADIF - all contacts exported as SAT mode
I would still like you to send me the information requested in my last post because I need to see what caused this! but when you have done that you can remove the mode as followsG0OFE wrote:All contacts had the mode set on the SAT_MODE column.

1. In QSO Archive manager click "Enable Update" and then "Select all"
2. Click "Field Update"
3. Select the "Sat Mode" field from the drop down list in "Field to Update"
4. Check the box "Clear Field"
5. Click the "Update button"

OK, just about to attack this now i have a little time...
I've clicked "help" in order to enable debug mode, but I can't find that option... and I've done a search for "debug" in the manual, but can't find it there either.
I'll hold off from the steps on your last post so that you can get the info you need from the debug, once I've found how to do it! I have version 1.18.0.0 which is not quite the latest, don't know if that makes a difference to finding the debug mode.

You need to update to 1.19G0OFE wrote: I have version 1.18.0.0 which is not quite the latest, don't know if that makes a difference to finding the debug mode.
Uninstall the old version before installing 1.19
1.19 has the features I referred to 1.18 does not
