Anyone using OM-POWER amplifier with LOG4OM?

A friend of mine has a new OM-POWER 2500A. It works fine with his FT-1000, but has various issues when attempting to use it with LOG4OM (frequent disconnects, everything works in slow motion when he clicks on a spot, etc). He has tried both Hamlib and Omnirig. The manufacturer of OM-POWER amplifier asked him to test it with N1MM logging software instead. N1MM seems to control everything just fine. He's still working on on the issue with the amp manufacturer, but I was just wandering if an OM-POWER user(s) is on this forum and could tell us if s/he experienced issues.

What is the set up, like what is connected to what and using what ports and connections
