Hi guys,
Having spent the day exploring new ways to manage QSLs for DXCC awards, I've come across something - not sure if its an issue, or its the way the Country Status is supposed to work. Attached is a screen shot which presents the issue.
Notice that I have selected in Actual View: -> "QSL and LofW status". The way I would think that would work is if you have ANY contacts which have been confirmed (by QSL), or validated (by LotW) that the country would be shown in Green, and the corresponding band also in green.
Take Mariana Is. - which has been expanded to show bands and modes. If you notice the last two qso's, they have been Validated via LotW. But Mariana Is. is still in yellow? Also the 10m and 15m bands are still in yellow? Is the yellow color of the unconfirmed modes overriding the band color? Shouldn't Mariana Is. be green along with 10m and 15m to make this view the most useful?
Here is another example - this time on the Netherlands, 15m band. I have 3 modes confirmed or verified on 15m, but 15m is still shown in yellow? And 20m is confirmed on SSB, should its color not be green?
Have I missed something on the colors? I would think that having green override the yellow would be the most useful for using this view. I was going to use it to look down the countries as a way to work on unverified qso's for sending out qsl requests. The way its now working diminishes the usefulness for what I was trying to do. Again, I maybe am missed something. I am on v 1.19.0.0.
Thanks,

Re: Statistics and Awards validated qso are yellow?
hi all
on my side I notice that I cannot see in the same view qso worked already verified via lotw
see for example the Tromelin qso on 160 ,which is the first qso on this band. in the log is included but the matrix seems not to trace it.

Colors are referring to the first sub Group.W7DRM wrote: Take Mariana Is. - which has been expanded to show bands and modes. If you notice the last two qso's, they have been Validated via LotW. In your example the first sub Group of Mariana Is. block is the BAND block. Yellow means that UNDER MARIANA ISLAND there are BANDS not FULLY confirmed.
If you check BAND (eg. 10m the color is Yellow because there are MODES under this band that are NOT CONFIRMED)
If you set filters to WORKED and not CONFIRMED the situation changes accordingly, and Log4OM doesn't check anymore the confirmations but only the worked. The situation, so, changes and also visual representation changes in the way IK2EGL shows (that is not filtering for confirmation but is showing data in WORKED mode).
I suspect your 15M band on Netherlands has some strange data on it.Here is another example - this time on the Netherlands, 15m band. I have 3 modes confirmed or verified on 15m, but 15m is still shown in yellow? And 20m is confirmed on SSB, should its color not be green?

Re: Statistics and Awards validated qso are yellow?
Thanks Daniele,
On the first issue, I see your point. Yellow overrides Green so that you can more easily work on missing bands or modes. And if you select Actual View: Worked Status, then you get the view that I was looking for, where green overrides yellow.
On the second issue, I will forward you my log. I did find many other instances where that behavior is occurring - below:
In this example, there are 3 bands for Alaska where all modes have been confirmed, but bands are still in yellow (15,17,20), while 10m is good.
In this example for Argentina, 10m displays green as it should, but 20 meters shows yellow.
In this example for Aruba, 20m is good with green, but 10, 15 and 40 should also be green, but they are yellow?
There are a lot more examples through my log. I hope that helps!
