I will continue my 'paper' logs as they have shown a high degree of value and resiliency yet to be matched in the electronic world at a nominal price-point. I mean no disrespect to Log4OM and its developers and I deeply appreciate their free-ware, as I am unemployed. I was simply giving my $0.02 on improvements to the module -- 'Net Control'.

Cordially,

This may be slightly off topic so I apologise in advance. Kumar, some years ago I wrote a 'net controllers log' using an MS Excel spreadsheet. Over the years I have been a net controller on many many DX nets and this simple spreadsheet does all that I personally need as a net control. I have sent it to Lele in the hope that it may give him some extra ideas.... Bearing in mind that these days, it is used mainly for the ANZA & Pacific DX nets and contains a lot of VK/ZL specific info, if you would like a copy I will be happy to send it to you... it is 880kb ZIPped.

Can 'Duplicate' entries under the 'Net Control' module / Operators/ In_Active list be highlighted for removal?

All the best to Log4OM in 2015!!!

Hi Terry,

I know that!

I should have styled the question in this way.

Can the program "Automatically" highlight 'Duplicate' entries; or can the program 'FLAG' when a 'Duplicate' call-sign is about to the added to the Operator list?

Thanks and best regards,

I have a new request which also involves Net Control logging.

On our CEWN Website http://cewn.org I would like to be able to have our entire team of NCS's under a co-net control situation, to be able to post to the website 'LIVE' check-ins. That means multiple users to a single log.

How complicated is this to accomplish, and is there any product of this concept already out there?

Danny, hoping you place a flame by this idea also, and not douse with with a bucket of cold water

You mean multiple administrators on the same NET?
Currently the integration with HRDLog.net that provide the online features is based over an asyncronous update, so it's not possible, at this time, to keep multiple log4om instances updated with changes that are occurring on other administrator clients.
Also current NET is binded to HRDLog.net user so multiple things must be changed to accomplish this task, and i have no plans for that actually.
