Log4OM 1.20.0 release

Post by VK7XX »

for what it is worth, I have installed the subject release. My only "complaint" is that the majority of my window positions were not remembered. (any detached grids and QSO Archive was ok. but all other window positions, including the main log window were not remembered.. )

While I can readily re position windows as they come in to use, it would have been nice not to have to do this. Other than this whinge on my part, all appears to be running nicely. Thank you to all concerned for the great work with this, the worlds best ham radio logging software.

:-) Terry, I think that it can be worlds best without having the greatest number of users,, Something with a huge user base is not necessarily the best... look at MicroCrap Windows for example

True :)
We still have a good number of satisfied users, that is enough :)
Our main "problem" is Log4OM is not so famous, but our enthusiast user base is working hard to spread the word :)

Many thanks for the latest release (1.20.0) - it's a great piece of software, and I'm pleased to see my own skimmer spots now appearing in the cluster. I had spent some time puzzling over why they were not in earlier versions. Thanks again!

If you are using Windows 7, it is a real PITA for not remembering the state of programs' windows. I use this http://www.desksoft.com/WindowManager.htm which really helps. Some programs (minority) act funny with it so if you do use the program and some weird windows behaviour down the line, just disable WM for that window/program. I use it on all my Win 7 installs
