Hi Team,
One small annoyance: I usually enter my QSO's into LOG4OM after the QSO and often I have already QSY'ed by then. So I enter the frequency manually into the QSO details, but the log entry always shows the CAT frequency at the time of creating the log entry and not what I manually entered in the QSO details. Is it possible to fix this?
Thanks & 73 Tony YO3IPR / G4IPR

Click suspend cat reading in the drop down menu and the set freq/band manually

Re: Manual frequency entry over-ridden by CAT
Hello Tony. Yes, I also find this a small annoyance and some time ago I requested that when the Manual Entry 'lock' is checked for 'Freq' that it behave the same as when you click the 'lock' for manual entry of 'Mode'. It should not be necessary to go and look for other settings to uncheck when a manual 'lock' is selected, it should just happen and lock it. I do not know if this issue has been addressed yet tho.yo3ipr wrote:Hi Team,

Hi John,
Yes, I see there is a lock button next to the frequency section (also for mode, comment and note). I've been using LOG4OM for a while now but had not noticed these until you mentioned them. I tried it, the mode lock works but not the frequency lock. The mode follows the lock as displayed but the frequency always reads from CAT at the time of entry even though the frequency display is locked.
Hi Terry,
As John mentioned this should be treated as a bug. The frequency lock option is there but is functioning only with the display. Mode lock works correctly.
Your previous suggestion of using "suspend CAT" works fine of course may be a little inconvenient for some users.
