Log4OM, LOTW & QRZ logs do not match

Post by VK5PL »

In Log4OM I have 847 QSOs according to the records found at the bottom of the window.
In the LOTW log I have only 586 & on QRZ only 734.
What is the best way to balance these out.
If I manually upload will that fix it or cause duplications?
Could this be caused because I have started adding from my old paper log, my first contacts from 1980?

Do an ADIF export from Log4OM and upload it to QRZ and when doing so select delete the old data in the QRZ web page

You could do the same for LOTW but I am not sure how they handle duplicates!

Almost definitely

LOTW will reject and note a duplicate QSO. By duplicate I mean, exact time, date, band, mode, etc. as a previous LOTW QSO.

So use the same ADIF file to upload to LOTW David

Thanks fellas, I also realised that the log is not automatically updated to LOTW, so I have to manually do that.
It is interesting going back & entering those old QSOs from the '80s. I never realised I worked so many different countries, at first running 10w on a converted CB rig & later with 30w which was all we were allowed on the original Novice call.
