Slow CAT control

I have a longstanding issue with slow CAT control.

When I click on a spot in the cluster window the rig QSY is very delayed, a matter of several seconds in most cases. If their is a change of mode involved, sometimes the mode is first changed, followed by another delay to QSY the frequency.

I am using OMNIRIG for radio control, rig is FTdx5000. This delay does not happen in others applications.

What polling rate is Omnirig set to and what baud rate is the radio set to?

Hi Terry,

Issue resolved.

OMNIRIG timeout value was at 4000. Changed that to 100, and problem cleared.
