Good morning,
I am familiar with excel from my work. Its easy through excel or Libre office's calc to make easy bulk changes(*), statistics etc. In the mean time I found a very useful excel utility made by DL1HW:
http://dl1hw.darc.de/
converts easily adif to excel to adif, thanks to Harald's good work.

* I don't have migrate to LOg4OM since, now I am learning it. Probably, its more convinient in manipulating the database from my former logger s/w.
