Automatic upload on new QSO

Post by G4DWV »

The title of this post appears in several external logbook config boxes - please see attachment. I have cleared them all as I delete QSOs that I consider invalid - if I did not clear them, an invalid QSO gets uploaded.

eQSL* QSOs can be uploaded manually, but is there a way to manually upload any of the others via Log4OM

*When is the bug about the eQSL last checked date due to be fixed? Not a biggie as I have trained myself to download QSLs from LoTW first and I use the same date in the eQSL download box. Just thought I would ask as I was starting a topic that was sort of close to that issue ;) .

I thought all of those you highlighted can be uploaded manually.
I tend to play around with the QSO (make sure it is how I want it to be) then right click the QSO in the RECENT tab and then upload each one separately.......or am I missing your point (which is quite likely!?)

Hi Rob,

I have only found a way to upload eQSL and LoTW manually. AFAICT I cannot with the others.

What version are you using?

V1.21 allows for individual upload by a right click on a QSO which provides a list of upload options

This feature is available in the recent QSO window F8 and the QSO Archive manager

Hi Terry,

Yes, I am using 1.21

I use the right-click menu a lot and did not see those options

Guy, for your info, If you happen to use the Recent QSO (F8) window as "detached" some of the right click menu items will be missing. This has been reported and is (hopefully) on the to be fixed list.

Oo John, that is spooky. That is exactly how I run it :D . I only have it visible to be sure that the QSO gets logged correctly via JTAlert (sometimes the JTAlert gives negative messages, but the QSO usually gets written correctly.

I have made a suggestion for v2, and IIRC it will be implemented, that a minimalist QSO entry panel be made to minimise the use of screen area.
