Can't get back up files to load.

Help!

I was Updating Flidgi and some how screwed up my Log 40M.

It only starts in New Configure mode now. I have my backup configure saved in the backup folder and also my QSOs. Tried several time but can't the configure and ADIF files to load. What am I doing wrong?

Is there instructions to do that?

First unzip and copy the config backup file to the c://......../app data/roaming/LogOM/config folder

Now start log4om

If Log4om does not load your QSO's then use file / import ADIF to import the backup adi file

I don't see a "Config folder" in the c: Users/Joe/appdata/romaing/LogOM?

Then only folders are:

TEMP
BACKUP
LOG
HAMLIB
LABELS
MACROS

There is a XML Config file, that's the only config file.

The Back up and the Log contain the files that I need to get everything back.

I uninstalled and then reinstalled Log40M I got an error code 740 at the start, the requested operation requires elevation.

Sorry my bad I was thinking of the portable version, the normal version does not have such a folder! So......

Copy the latest Config.xml and CommunicatorConfig.xml to the C:\.........\AppData\Roaming\Log4om folder and allow them to over write any existing files if you are asked to do so

Now start Log4om and if no QSO's are displayed in the recent QSO tab (F8) goto file/import ADIf and import the latest ?????.adi file from the backup folder

Not working, I loaded the Back up Config files as shown above............

I get the new config screen each time I start LOG40M and have to use the task manager to shut it down. There is no other config in the drop down menu.

The config file is versioned using the last date/time it was created.
The date_time is represented by the long number in the file name in the format yyyymmdd HHMMSS
Copy xxxxxxxxxxx_config.xml and xxxxxxxxxx_communicatorconfig.xml in the home folder of the backup folder where you found the files and strip the "20151122334455_" part of the name. This will overwrite the previous file.

No need to reinstall anything

The error you received is an issue in the installer that i'm trying to fix, and happens only if you try start Log4OM just after installation
