Just opened Log4OM, and my entire log is missing - gone - lost - over 60,000 QSO's....
Now I know the program keeps a backup, but where? How do I locate and import it? What is the name?

Hans,
First search for your original log by searching for star dot SQLite (*.sqlite) and if it's found then in Log4om file/open database

Re: Complete log LOST?
Something is unstable.
My log came back by exiting the program and relaunching it.
But now I also notice that all my settings are zeroed out. Like the configuration file is lost.
So I go to Settings > Options > Selected Config tab. At the "Select configuration" there is only one item on the "Dropdown" ---- "NEW CONFIGURATION [RUNNING][ACTIVE].
At least I have my log back. I am going to export a "full" ADIF before I exit the program.

For what it's worth, I have located the file k0hb.SQLite
It is in an unexpected location, a folder on my D: drive where I normally ONLY keep *.ADI files. There are no other non *.ADI files in that folder, and I would not have deliberately stored it in that location. It is also the ONLY *.SQLite file on the computer.
Where should my configuration file be found?

There is no default location for the sqlite file because you select where to save it to when you create a new database from the Log4om file menu.K0HB wrote:For what it's worth, I have located the file k0hb.SQLite It is in an unexpected location, a folder on my D: drive where I normally ONLY keep *.ADI files. You configuration files are stored with the ADIF backups in the location that you set in the Log4OM settings, if you selected the default location then the config files will be located at:
C:\.........\Your user name\AppData\Roaming\LogOM\Backup
Select the most recent config files
The file name is prefixed by the date and time like:
20150625081057_config.xml
20150625081057_CommunicatorConfig.xml
You need to remove the date and time so that the files appear like this
config.xml
CommunicatorConfig.xml
When you have done this in the Backup folder just copy and paste the files to the configuration folder:
C:\.........\Your user name\AppData\Roaming\LogOM
Allow the existing files to be overwritten and then restart Log4OM, all should be back to normal

Re: Complete log LOST?
Please if you still experience the issue fill a support request from Log4OM and send me the resulting .ZIP that contains the log. It's useful for me to catch the issue, if any.
