So the other night I installed Omnirig, and I got a USB CAT cable.
I followed the manual, and although I didn't have the rig connected I had the green light on for the CAT. That was easy I thought.
The green light did go off though. I assumed that was because it detected there was no rig attached?
Anyway, I do have the rig attached now, but I cannot get that light to go green again.
I've tried two USB ports, noting the COMx that device manager reports.
All I can think is the CAT cable has broken, or I am doing something wrong?

Make sure the Yaesu has the menu set to the correct cat connection it can be via the mic or the rear connector
Also ensure the baud rate on the rig is the same as selected in Omnirig

That makes sense and I will do that.
But should I have got the green light at the bottom with no rig, and now nothing with the rig?
