Ok...I am really having trouble figuring this seemly simple setting, to make it work. I know it can be done to filter out the parts of the bands I don't have privileges to work.

All that I have tried is not really functioning the way I would like..

Let start at the top- How to adjust one band filter or Command to only spot my band privileges(General). Just a quick example, photo for one band edit would be awesome, and save tons of time.

Mike,

You need to execute each one of those SH/DX (freq) commands. Putting them into the list only makes them available in the list. Go to F3 tab of Cluster display, then use the Send Command drop down list to select one of the SH/DX commands, then click Send Commnand. This is near the bottom of the window. Repeat for each SH/DX (freq) command you have in the list.

Doug,

I just want you to know I really appreciate you helping with quick responses!! I sent each command individually. Now the only question I have is How long will it last? Does this need to be done every time I start the Log3om program?

Mike,

Once you have sent the commands to the VE7CC cluster server, any "future" spots will comply with the filters you have set. In order to refresh your Log4OM cluster display, then send the "SHOW/MYDX/200" command. You should add that command to your command list if you don't have it in the list. This will resend the last 200 spots which comply with your filters.

VE7CC cluster will remember your settings and filters, so you can log off of VE7CC and reconnect, or exit Log4OM and restart and the filters should remain in effect.

This area of custom commands is not covered in our existing users manual. Hopefully Terry will incorporate it in our new online manual he is working on.

These custom commands are very powerful, so check out the list of commands I sent (link) and the CC User program for even more power over the cluster information you receive. You can limit spot reported from a certain area like your state, or nearby states, you can include skimmer spots and set up voice, email, or device alerts for specific calls, countries/band/mode combinations, and on and on...

You can add them in the logon sequence...
