When I go into settings the XML-RPC is still selected,

Not at PC now to test,

Terry I don't use Skype on my PC I have neither a web cam or mic, would I need these

No just install Skype on the computer Log4om and FLDigi are on

No webcam is required just a microphone and speakers or better still a headset

I couldn't remember how long ago I installed fldigi so I UN-installed it and installed the latest version, and all is ok so far,

It's a far cry from DM780 in terms of ease of use and quality of the user interface but I'll give it a go for a while,
