So it appears after hours of messing around with a text editor :)

That Log4Om's "apply quality check corrections" is what is messing things up.

If I do not do that I can import a QRZ.com log just fine and end up with all my Zone 4s.

I did try to use the Suggest quality check suggestions thinking that it would give me a heads up on what it wanted to change, but that function did not appear to work for me.

The current quality checks are based on the priority choices made in the config menu, CTY, Clublog etc.

In the next release we have modified the ADIF import process to ignore zone choices for historic Qso's on the basis that when the QSO took place, maybe 5 years ago, the zone must be accepted to be correct although the qth of the call sign now indicates a different zone.

e.g The owner of the call sign worked five years ago could have moved from California to Florida and therefore changed his QTH to a different zone.

This however will not rectify any errors made by the user or previous software, while creating the QSO, relating to zones.

Thanks guys.

Let me know if you need a log or anything to test.

I am not sure the percentage of incorrect zone 4 to zone 5 corrections but its over 90%.

Oddly enough Canadian zone 4s stay zone 4.
