Have you tried VK1AO instead of vk1ao in Log4OM? At your eQsl account it is in upper case and in Log4OM you use lower case.
OK that did it. I always log into eQSL with my VK2MET callsign and password, then I switch to VK1AO via the menus.
I didn't realise that you could log on with another callsign and the same password. They are usually couplets.
Anyway - changing my callsign in External Services worked.
