Hi Guys,

FTDX-10 here and confirm same issue.
I solve it by switching to DATA-U but when I have to be on USB for FT8 it is really boring.
Of course we can lock the mode but I hope this will be resolve.

Same for me if I turn the VFO away from 14.074 for example it stops immediately.

I'm trying to catch the issue. It's definitely something related to band plan function that set mode to a specific mode when frequency matches a specific frequency in the bandplan.
For some reasons there is an "Update" coming to Log4OM that is not calculating the right mode, that is calculated in a subsequent call, making it flickering.
Things are even more complicated by:

1) the fact Omnirig is sending 2 different messages for frequency and mode, and Log4OM process both
2) i can't reproduce that f***ng issue even with my ftdx-101d

QUESTION: The issue is happening only with WSJT-x running?

In my case only when using JTDX when in FT4 mode.

Thanks for that, while the flashing of the S/R mode has stopped in FT4, in the main GUI it correctly shows FT4 when selecting frequency in JTDX, however on first transmit sequence the FT4 mode switches to FT8 mode in the GUI. I tested on all of the nominated FT4 slots.

If I Iock the mode to FT4 it works fine. I tried in configuration under CAT interface deactivating the "switch to DIGITAL mode when required" the default of FT8 it made no difference.

What is your frequency and ITU region in config?

Ok even in DATA U it doesn not work if I switch the FT4, it will constantly switch between FT8 and FT4.
