I only want to enter 4 digit grids though as this is all I note in my paper logbook.
I hope this can be put in as a 'feature enhancement'. Certainly on 6M we most often only pass 4 digit grids.
I least I found the cause!

Its not a feature enhancement it a bug, even we occasionally have bugs
Please be patient we will fix this in the next few days

B.t.w. i have done some QSO at 6 mtrs and always we exchanged 6 digits for the locator. But it´s a problem with digitals like JT65A or JT 9 .... Then only 4 digits logged.

Hi Daniele ....
tryed the following things. First i use QSO manager and search for JT65. A lot of 4 digit Locators but also a lot of 6 digit locators was detected. I tryed the 4 digit option for the kml and all logged 6 digit locators would be shown as 4 digits in Google Earth (automatic opened) .... the logged 4 digit locators are not show´n.
If i select only 4 digit locators in the log and hit "Plot Google Earth" i can use the 4 digit option but GE was not opened and in TEMP is no KLM file saved to open up manually. Hope that may help you to discover the issue ...

Juergen,
This is a known bug together with a problem of manually inserted four digit locators not being saved to the logbook
Four digit locators sent from JT65 however are saved OK
Daniele will resolve this as soon as his work load at his office decreases

Found the glitch.
passed unnoticed from beta testing team.
A beta release is already available for tests, so we probably release very soon a corrective release 1.18.1
This also affects the google earth visualization of 4 digit grids.
