Trying to set up flex pg. 192 of manual list program to use for VSP but does not work with Win 7 64 bit
Any suggestion of what program to use with 64 bit

I no longer own my Flex 3000 but I used VSPE from Eterlogic. I worked well for me but be advised that the 64 bit version is not free. I think it is $24.95 USD. Take a look at http://www.eterlogic.com/Products.VSPE.html I suspect there are other ones out there but I chose this one as it was mentioned in the Flex manual at the time I purchased it. Originally used the 32 bit no charge version with Windows XP but when I upgraded to Windows 7 64 bit I had to purchase the other version.

VSP Manager, obtainable from K5FR, will work with your Flex on a x64bit Win 7 OS.
It's free.....just email him and he will give it you.
If you get no luck...I will send you a copy.

Read late but i can confirm that VSP manager works great for the Flex 1k to 5k family .... If you need work with digitals like PSK31 or RTTY you also need the software VAC (Virtual Audio Cable) which works great too ... But it´s not free .. With the test version you can create 1 virtual cable but you need 2 of them ...

Since a few month i´m back to an analogue rig (former Flex-1500 User) but if you have some questions about a digital setup of the Flex radios up to the 5k series let me know .... Will try to give you some help ... But can need some days ... A.t.m. some private things have more priority ...
