Need more monitor space!
Re: Need more monitor space!
Terry,
That looks good to me. I have a couple of questions on your set-up.
I am using Omnirig for Log4OM and rig control and I think you are also. When loading any of the other Afreet programs, Band Master for example, do you need to run any virtual serial ports or do the Afreet programs just attach themselves to the running Omnirig?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Need more monitor space!
No they all share Omnirig and make use of it's multi threading ability. Just install and run the programs and they all share the same port. No need for a VSP
You might need to start the Afreet programs before Log4om for the multi threading to work properly, I have them set to auto start in the Log4om options just before Log4om.
The next release of Log4om has the ability to read reverse beacon networks and the skimmer port built into our cluster and eventually Log4om will fully integrate for data transfer between these programs.

Re: Need more monitor space!
Thanks Terry. I will try that. I tried running Band Master this weekend. It seemed to work on its own but not with Log4OM. However, since then if I run only Log4OM I have had an issue with it decoding my frequency correctly. I think I will uninstall Omnirig and re-install to see it that clears the problem. It can't hurt.
Glad to know about RBN and skimmer features coming. I seem to recall we discussed this many revisions ago so glad to know it is still on the list!
