History

New Years Day 2015 and time to think of the future, however some historic information might be of interest?

Three years ago this month was the first public release by Daniele of Log4om - How time flies!

In June it will be three years since I started the Yahoo group - Interesting but messy in comparison to this forum which was started on 13th January two years ago.

There are 579 users on this forum and its hard to gauge how many Log4om users we have overall but my best guess judging from the downloads and usage information we have I believe its around 10,000 and growing daily.

We have come a long way in three years with version one and version two, which addresses some of the issues in version one, will provide a much better platform for future development will be released later this year.

So a big thank you to Daniele for his hard work and extreme patience with us all, to Chuck K7PT not only for his hard work keeping our country file and SCL right up to date but also his effort in Alpha testing, to the Log4om team for diligently testing prior to public releases and to all of our users for their support, ideas and encouragement.
