Two-way

Post by G4DWV »

Is it possible for Log4OM to be receptive to two programs at the same time?

I would like to operate both JT65 and PSK31 at the same time on my rig (easily do-able), using both WSJT-X and FLDigi and have both logging into Log4OM. All works fb using one or the other.

Mni tnx,

Guy

As FLdigi uses XML/RPC to log directly to Log4om whereas JT alert logs directly into our database I cannot see any reason why this would not work, have you tried?

The only problem could be is both programs tried the send a QSO simultaneously

Hi John,

Have only tried one after the other but I would expect this to work at the same time if QSO not sent to L4OM at the same time.
They are using two differents way for adding contacts to the log...
Anyway I did not try so cannot confirm 100%

I just did a test with some dummy callsigns and it works fine - both calls from both progs logged correctly.

OT:- Does the v2 progress bar need an update, hi hi.
