40 meter band

Post by WA1MAD »

Hi again. I just noticed when I'm on 40m and tune above 7.200 I get an out of band message. The band goes to 7.300, at least here in the USA. Also, similar question, I have my general ticket so the lower end of many bands is not allowed for me. Can I set my band privileges/limitations so I will know when I'm on a disallowed frequency? I'm sure it may be answered somewhere in the users manual, but I can't find it. Thanks

You have not set your country/Region correctly in the options/station info tab this will select the correct bandplan for your region

You can modify the bandplanR2.xml for your licence frequencies restrictions with Windows notepad, I suggest you save a copy before you edit in case you screw up
