Slow CAT control

I have a longstanding issue with slow CAT control.
When I click on a spot in the cluster window the rig QSY is very delayed, a matter of several seconds in most cases. If their is a change of mode involved, sometimes the mode is first changed, followed by another delay to QSY the frequency.
I am using OMNIRIG for radio control, rig is FTdx5000. This delay does not happen in others applications.

please enable trace mode in help menu, work with CAT to reproduce the issue then send me (lele (at) pisto.it) a "support request" package (last item in the help menu) that contains all relevant logfiles.
Thanks

Yes, same issue here with slow CAT control. Sometimes I don't think it is going to change at all and close the program.
Using Yaeus FT-450.
Thanks

Check the polling interval in Omnirig, it should be set to about 100

What is your call sign?
Sorry about that it's W1CAB
Changing the polling did the trick by the way. Just about instant now.
Thanks,
