After setting up all the station data I saved the configuration.
Now is it possible to restore that saved configuration after a reset?

Re: restore Configuration
Are you referring to a Station Configuration as detailed on pages 28 - 32 of the user guide or the user settings you have entered in each of the settings tabs?
If you click 'Reset' it sets everything back to the defaults, we strongly advise printing your config out for future reference,

Re: restore Configuration
Good, that helped.
Terry, one more problem. I am trying to set up the logging forJT-Alert.
"Logging is done via the UDP (DM780) connection service of Log4OM."
"The JT-Alert server IP address of the PC running Log4OM and the UDP port configured on the Log4OM Settings->options->Services tab."
I am trying to do this, as shown on Page 21 of the user's manual. I need to tick the UDP connection box, but it is greyed out. What am I doing wrong?
Is the server address JT-Alert is looking for: http://localhost:8080/log4om?
Again thanks for your help and patience.

Re: restore Configuration
To edit the services you use the "Communicator" window which is minimised to the bottom of your screen - See lower image on page 18K0AY wrote:"Logging is done via the UDP (DM780) connection service of Log4OM."
"The JT-Alert server IP address of the PC running Log4OM and the UDP port configured on the Log4OM Settings->options->Services tab."
In the 'Communicator' window 'Interfaces' tab follow the instruction "To edit any of the services it is necessary to stop the Communicator by clicking the ‘Stop’ button indicated" as stated on page 20 of the user guide.
Once you have "STOPPED' the 'Communicator' it is possible to check the 'UDP connection' box so that JTAlert can communicate with port 2236 as shown in the lower image of page 20 of the user guide.I am trying to do this, as shown on Page 21 of the user's manual. I need to tick the UDP connection box, but it is greyed out. What am I doing wrong?
Once you have checked the 'UDP connection' box you must then return to the 'Interfaces' tab and restart the services by clicking the large green button that says 'Start' then save the settings.

Re: restore Configuration
udp connection should point to a TCP address
http://somethign:port/Log4OM is a WebService
Your TCP address is:
localhost OR 127.0.0.1 if both softwares resides on the same PC, if not, the IP where COMMUNICATOR is running
the port is the one reported in the UDP service in communicator

Re: restore Configuration
Thank you gentlemen, what a pleasure working with such competence.
I have JT9 logging perfectly. I still have problems with JT65, but I dont believe the problem is with L4OM.
One more thing for me to fix: In JT65 The QRG window was filled from HRD/DM780. This is used for logging and more importantly the RB spotting system. Is there a way for L4OM to supply the frequency to JT65?
Thanks again.

Re: restore Configuration
You will need to consult the JT65 guys about that because I have never used it and have no information about it, sorry!K0AY wrote: In JT65 The QRG window was filled from HRD/DM780. Re: restore Configuration
i'm implementing data pump from log4om to communicator in order to have in the communicator the actual CAT informations from rig.
If they told you what kind of informations they're able to receive we can arrange a connection
