Log4OM and CW Skimmer used together

Anyone using these two programs together succesfully? I hv Win 8.1 & i7.......radio is a Flex 6500 w/SSDR
using SDR Bridge and CW Skimmer....I can get either program to work nicely with SSDR but not get both to work together talking to SSDR at the same time....

not an expert but it looks like a conflict within Omnirig between these two programs....

Any help very much appreciated..

Omnirig multithreads so it can have multiple connection

I use CW Skimmer, Bandmaster and Log4om all at the same time using Omnirig connected to my Icom ProIII with no issues

Worked on Windows 7 then on 8.1 and now on Windows 10 without any problems

Steve. I have Skimmer running with Log4OM and SmartSDR. I have not found any use for SDR Bridge. I have Skimmer setup as a SoftRock-IF, and the sampling rate at 96 khz. Skimmer then follows the frequency of my 6700 using Omnirig. Note you do not need to do anything in Omnirig for this to work. Other thing to check is the DAX Control Panel and ensure you have DAX-IQ set up for 96000 streaming. The DAX-IQ port also needs to be set to the same port in the Skimmer audio tab. My PC is an i7 running Win 10.

Thank You Peter....OK SDR Bridge is gone...hardware type is now SoftRock-if..sample rate 96khz...Audio
IF is set to zero??? can u tell me what this does? should it be set at something other than zero?

Skimmer is following the freq of my 6500 nicely and decoding well....that simplified this part...

Problem I'm having is that Log40M and omnirig are not communicating well.....Log40M when started doesn't report freq. and I get an error message that Omnirig is not installed correctly....

if I shut down skimmer and then just start log4om, log40m works very well

it has to be some conflict with omnirig.......any help and suggestions are really appreciated...

I have not seen any problems with Omnirig. These are my Omnirig settings - obviously the Com Port will vary with your setup.

I'm not sure about the audio IF setting in Skimmer.

Thanks for the suggestions....using Omniirig 1.16.0.246 with latest rig.ini.
Peter...my omnirig setup is just like ur's - I've tried...Kenwood...TS-2000...SmartSDR...PowerSDR...all with no success....

like I've said, one or the other works fine by itself but try and get both started and no success....

my virtual ports setup in SDRCat are (dedicated)....

any ideas...I'll try it...appreciate the help.

Steve. The port I use for Omnirig is the one shown in the picture. I'm not using any additional ports at the moment.

Found another program that uses omnirig.....Bandmaster, another DXAtlas piece of software.
Installed it and it ran nicely....
opened up CW Skimmer and the two worked nicely together.

opened Log4OM with Bandmaster running and Log4om works but CAT status is RED
actually it reports that OMNIRIG is not installed...

all 3 programs work well by themselves.....Log4OM will
not work with other programs that share Omnirig

anyone know of another program that use omnirig that is not a DXAtlas product....i could try it

anyway it looks like Log4OM doesn't like to share CAT when using Omnirig......

any ideas, suggestions, tests to run, I'd be glad to try...
Thanks for any help
Steve
