I know this has been talked about before but I have not found any real solution so I will bring it up again. When I do a lookup of a call using the internal browser I get a window that pops up that says "script error..object doesn't support property or method 'some' ......This does not occur if I check use ext browser. I just started seeing this within the last two weeks. Previously, I had never seen it. It is very annoying...how do I get rid of it??
Thanks and 73,
Harry

Re: Script Error doing QRZ Lookups
I'm trying, but this component is the one embedded into the .NET framework...
it's a shame, i'm exploring alternatives but it's not so easy to find a valid replacement for that control.

Why not use the External Browser lookup? Just check the box Ext. Browser beside the Lookup button.

Ok Daniele...I understand. Does everybody have this problem? I am thinking not but if not why do some people have the issue and others do not? I never had an issue until about 3 weeks ago....
I certainly prefer the internal browser because it saves display space. I use SDR radio so my screens get rather busy....
Great program...thanks for all your efforts.

Re: Script Error doing QRZ Lookups
Could it be that your Java runtime is not up to date?
I do not have any problem as described. Running Vista, Win7 and Win10.
You might try downloading from : http://download.cnet.com/Java-Runtime-E ... 09607.html

Re: Script Error doing QRZ Lookups
Hi Chuck...thanks for your comments. I went out and downloaded the latest JRE, restarted everything but the problem is still there. I am not exactly a computer guru...Danielle thinks it relates to .NET where I guess the built in browser code is located. I am sure my .NET is up to date. If thats the case how come everyone does not see this issue. My default browser is chrome, which I guess does not play well with Java, but if I specify ext browser all is well even if its chrome....

Please make your default browser Internet Explorer and let us know if the problem is still there

Re: Script Error doing QRZ Lookups
Hi Terry...I changed my default browser to Explorer..rebooted but still get the script error message. Since I never used to get this maybe I should try to look back to see what might have changed. I know others have had this problem from time to time but do not know how widespread it might be and if anyone who had the problem solved the issue.
Thanks,
Harry

Re: Script Error doing QRZ Lookups
I probably found the issue. Will be available in the next release if beta testing reports ok
